Designer Golf’s metal components (cast bases, cast finials and posts) are comprised of rust free, corrosion resistant aluminum, a must for golf courses where chemicals and fertilizers can attack and destroy steel components.

With Designer Golf, all metal components are welded, not mechanically fastened.  You won’t have to worry about items becoming loose or crooked.  Welded components means less installation time and you don’t have to worry about scratching your product while affixing the components.

In addition to welding, all of Designer Golf’s components are painted with two component, automotive grade acrylic urethanes.  Automotive grade urethanes are widely regarded as superior to powder coating and other paint chemistry in protecting against harmful UV rays and chemicals.  Another important consideration is the ability to touch up and repaint components over time.  Powder coated items are difficult, if not impossible to repaint in the field.
